In honor of Black History Month, Student Council wanted to support a local black owned business and Bailey Smokes came highly recommended. Student Council catered a meal for the entire faculty. Student Council also set up a Periodic table and timeline of black history in the main rotunda of the school.
Mrs. Henderson's 6th grade ELA classes did individual reports on notable African Americans in the United States.
