PBIS

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence based framework that schools can use to improve student outcomes every day. It is a way to support everyone to create the kinds of schools where all students are successful.
 
At Harris, PBIS is driven by the phrase Be a Harris HERO.  HERO stands for the following guidelines:
Be Helpful
Be Encouraging
Be Responsible
Be On-Task
 
Students who show the characteristics of a Harris HERO are rewarded points through our digital system that they can redeem for various rewards throughout the year.
