What we are learning this week

This week we are finishing up learning about ancient Greece by learning about the many contributions to our society that we have gotten from the ancient Greeks such as literature, philosophy, art, architecture, and more.

We will also be talking about one of the greatest military minds of all-time in Alexander the Great, a man who never lost a battle and may be more responsible for spreading Greek culture to the rest of the world than any other person in history.

We will have a quiz on Friday and then a unit-ending CFA over ancient Greece on Monday and Tuesday of next week.

Don't forget that students who turned in permission slips and fee money will be going to the Nashville Zoo on Thursday, March 20th

Esta semana terminaremos de aprender sobre la antigua Grecia aprendiendo sobre las numerosas contribuciones que hemos recibido de los antiguos griegos a nuestra sociedad, como la literatura, la filosofía, el arte, la arquitectura y más.
También hablaremos de una de las mentes militares más brillantes de todos los tiempos, Alejandro Magno, un hombre que nunca perdió una batalla y posiblemente sea el mayor responsable de difundir la cultura griega al resto del mundo que cualquier otra persona en la historia.
Tendremos un cuestionario el viernes y luego un CFA de fin de unidad sobre la antigua Grecia el lunes y el martes de la próxima semana.
No olviden que los estudiantes que entregaron los permisos y el dinero para la matrícula irán al Zoológico de Nashville el jueves 20 de marzo. ¡Las vacaciones de primavera se acercan!
