Every year at #HarrisMiddleSchool, Mrs. Lawell, our school librarian, ask the students of #HMS to participate in a letter writing competition called "Thank A Teacher, Win A Pie Challenge."
Students are encouraged to write a thank you letter to a teacher at Harris, or any other school in Bedford County. Mrs. Lawell delivers the letters to the teachers mailboxes at Harris and has the letters for other teachers delivered to them at their schools.
Many letters make you laugh, most make you smile, some make you cry, others make you do all three.
