Harris Middle School Baseball Victorious Over Cornersville Middle School Bulldogs

#HarrisMiddleSchool Baseball bested Cornersville Middle School Bulldogs 11-7 on Monday.
#HMS Baseball opened the scoring in the bottom of the second thanks to two singles. Harris Middle School Baseball first got on the board when Tobin Hathcock singled, scoring two runs.
Cornersville Middle School Bulldogs flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 5-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a triple by Cole Blalock following a 7-pitch at-bat that drove in four.
Harris Middle School Baseball jumped into the lead in the bottom of the fourth when Jake Dunnavant doubled, scoring two runs, Canyon Todd singled, scoring one run, and Mason Bowman drew a walk, scoring one run.
Knox Bowman pitched three innings in relief for Harris Middle School Baseball. The pitcher allowed one hit and one run while, striking out five and walking four. Todd started the game for Harris Middle School Baseball. The right-handed pitcher allowed three hits and five runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking six.
