Attention all students who are interested in playing tennis for #ShelbyvilleCentralHighSchool and their parents/guardians.
#SCHS Tennis will be hosting tryouts for the 2026-2027 team on Friday, May 22, from 12 noon to 1pm at the Shelbyville Recreational Center. Students interested in trying out must have a sports physical dated after April 15, 2026.
This tryout is for both boys and girls who will be attending SCHS in the fall of 2026 or home school students who are zoned for SCHS.

Attention incoming 6th-8th grade students interested playing volleyball next fall and their parents/guardians!
#HarrisMiddleSchool volleyball will be conducting tryouts on Wednesday, May 20 and Friday May 22.
Tryouts will go as follows:
6th graders from 5pm-6:15pm
7th graders from 6:20pm-7:35pm
8th graders from 7:45pm-9pm
Students must have a sports physical dated April 15, 2026 or later.
These tryouts are open to incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who attend #HMS, Thomas Magnet, Liberty Middle or any home school students zoned for those schools.

This weekend, #HMS and #SCHS alumni Gary Smith III reached one of the highest goals any athlete can have, signing a professional contract.
Gary was a standout at Harris and then #ShelbyvilleCentralHighSchool. He followed that up with outstanding performances at both #DukeUniversity and at #UCLA.
Now, Gary will be taking his talents to the National Football League to play for the #LasVegasRaiders!
