Recently school and district leaders from across the county gathered for important emergency preparedness training, led by Director of Federal Programs Chad Fletcher, focused on strengthening safety protocols and response efforts.

This training plays a key role in preparing for the March 6 Emergency Preparedness Drill️, helping our schools improve coordination, sharpen response skills and build confidence in handling emergencies. ✅

👟✨ BCS Is Stepping Up! ✨👟

We’re partnering with #Soles4Souls to host a district-wide shoe drive and the deadline to donate is almost here!

From January 20 – February 28, we’ll be collecting NEW and GENTLY USED shoes to support people around the world. These shoes will support the Soles4Souls’ 4OPPORTUNITY program, which helps people in countries like Haiti, Honduras and parts of Africa create small businesses selling shoes and clothing to earn a living.

We are excited to partner with Soles4Souls, who has generously donated new, brand-name athletic shoes through their 4EVERYKID program, helping #BedfordCountySchools McKinney-Vento students.

📍Shoe collection bins are in each of our schools and at the Central Office.
